Programme:

• Jour 1: introduction à l’argile, au pétrissage, centrage, tournage de pièces de différentes formes et dimensions en fonction de votre niveau.

• Jour 2: tournassage, assemblage, décor des pièces tournées la veille

Tarif: 145€/ pers (TTC)

Inclus:

• 2 demi-journées de 3h de cours avec un accompagnement en groupe restreint

• la terre au choix parmi un grès clair, un grès moucheté ou gris (en fonction des terres disponibles à l’atelier)

• la cuisson d’une pièce, possibilité de cuire les pièces supplémentaires au volume

• les outils et le matériel de l’atelier à disposition

• l’atelier est équipé de tours Shimpo silencieux

• boissons

À prévoir: des vêtements confortables qui ne craignent pas les taches, un tablier, essuie/torchon de cuisine et un micro-fibre pour le nettoyage des tours.

Malheureusement -et j’en suis désolée- pour le moment l’atelier n’est pas accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite car il se situe en entre-sol.

• Day 1: introduction to clay, wedging, centering and throwing a cylinder or a bowl

• Day 2: trimming and assembling the pieces from the previous day

• 2 afternoons: 2x3h of classes in a small group

• clay: choice between pale, speckled or grey stoneware depending on the availability

• all the tools at your disposal, silent and brand new wheels

• drinks

• the studio is a modest space so if the weather allows, the garden offers a lovely extension with views over the fields.

• firings and glazing of your favorite piece (more pieces can be fired with a small fee)

What to bring: comfortable clothes that can get dirty, an apron, a kitchen towel for cleaning.

Unfortunately, at the moment, the studio is not accessible in a wheelchair, as it is located downstairs.

Canceling policies: you can cancel 14 days prior to the workshop and will get a refund minus €20 administration fee. Closer to the date, you will not be refunded except if someone is on the waiting list. You can also find a replacement for your spot.
Please note that the workshops can be cancelled if there is not a minimum of 3 participants. In that case, other dates will be offered or a full refund. Thank you for your understanding.
